


Steve grew up in a non-Christian home and heard the Gospel for the first time as a freshman in college. The church community offered so much support being a new parent that I decided to volunteer on the hospitality team and share the warmth and welcome to others as I had received. The warm greeting that was provided instantly made me feel at home and the search ended! When Cornerstone Cares asked for respite volunteers I signed up to help! My husband and I welcomed their son into the family in 2021. In 2020 my family attended our first service at Cornerstone. Together, Mark and his wife are caregivers for her mom who lives with them.Īfter getting married to my husband, Chris, in 2018 I had begun my search for a church. Mark is married with three grown children now out on their own. After a 34-year career in marketing services and business support for a large DC-based nonprofit, Mark retired and began writing grant proposals and serving on the board for a few smaller nonprofits. Mark was born and reared in Lockport, New York, moving to Virginia in 1981, and to Warrenton in 1988.

Mark Brown - Program Director, Cornerstone Cares Nat loves to spend time with friends, playing card and board games, and is always excited to learn something new. Nat has a heart to see the local Churches working together as one body and continually growing for the Glory of God. Nat and Tabitha have two sons, Jeremy and James. He is wife Tabitha is also a graduate of Central, and has received two Masters from Liberty University, and works as a Crisis Therapist. Nat is a 2013 graduate of Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, MO with a Bachelor of Science in Youth & Family Ministry, as well as a Ministry Certificate in Worship Leading. Nat, born and raised in Michigan, joined Cornerstone and moved to Warrenton from Sikeston, Mo in June of 2018 where he served as the Worship Pastor of Anchor Church for 4 years. Mike and his wife Anna enjoy running, traveling and learning how to cook. After being out of Virginia for nearly 25 years, Mike returned in September 2005 in the role of Cornerstone’s Senior Pastor to serve the Warrenton community. Over a twelve year period, he led various ministries for Hope Church in Fort Worth as an associate pastor. As a result, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas for theological and leadership training. After working eight years as an engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mike felt led to help others get connected to God and to grow spiritually. A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Mike graduated from Virginia Tech in 1980 with a Civil Engineering degree.
